Health Discovery or Medical Breakthrough?
Every now and then youll find a story on the cover of a newspaper about a new medical breakthrough. They are discovering new medicines for treating cancer, diabetes, hart disease, ADHD, and every other disease you can name. Take cancer for example: Life Extension Magazine wrote: Despite enormous research dollars committed to finding a cure for cancer, very little improvement in survival has occurred over the past 50 years against most cancers. This coming December, it will be 34 years since the War on Cancer was declared. It was back in 1971 that President Richard Nixon signed bipartisan legislation into law after the U.S. Congress overwhelmingly passed it. Since then, approximately $2 trillion has been spent on conventional cancer treatment and research. One would think that, after almost a third of a century and such an astronomical investment, it would be easy to determine if significant progress has been made in combating the nation's number two cause of death. Medical breakthrough? Lets put it simple.
They will never ever find a medicine that will treat cancer and all the other diseases. At best, there will be a medicine that suppresses the after-effects of the disease. Prescription drugs are for those who didnt knew about living healthy (?), who didnt want to change their lifestyle and simply took to much risk. Prescription drugs will always be a treatment but no cure. Knowing this, its common sense that preventive medicines do not exist at all! It really sounds like quackery to me. With everything in life theres a rule: Cause and Consequence. So what is causing people getting sick?
Recommended Dietary Allowances (RDA)
Levels of essential nutrients that, on the basis of scientific knowledge, are judged by the Food and Nutrition Board (FNB of the Institute of Medicine at the National Academy of Sciences), to be adequate to meet the known nutrient needs of practically all healthy persons. They are designed to provide a safety factor appropriate for each nutrient and exceed the actual requirements of most persons whose individual nutrient needs vary.
If this is true? Then what?
How come that the Recommended Dietary Allowances vary from country to country. Sometimes up till 400%! There are many research documents that have been proven these levels to be wrong. And also, did you know that 99% of all research is spent on medication and only 1% on nutrition? Are nutrition levels the same for construction workers as for those with an office job? Is the RDA the same for a sportsman as for those that dont sport at all? What about genetics, smoking, medication and those who use lots of refined sugars and are exposed to other addictions. Has this been investigated by the FNB? Average Healthy People, do they exist? You know the answer dont you?
The good news
It must be clear by now that nutrition plays a major role in staying healthy, or become well all over again. Today there are several test methods available. A living blood analysis, witch gives you an inside of what went on today. The hair analysis, the bio resonance therapy, an iris scan and many more. But what are these testing methods lacking? There is no specific Recommended Dietary Allowances to refer to!
Let make things clear
Driving a car at a speed of 30 km per hour is very save. Do you all agree with me? And when you drive the same speed on a motorway? That seems pretty unsafe to me! This is whats lacking in giving a general advice for the whole population. This is also whats lacking in most test methods. Living in todays modern society
